INTEGRATION
Y integrates with Ethereum Attestation Service
With Ethereum Attestation Service (EAS), your digital identity is more transparent, private and fully in your control.
🌐 Y x Ethereum Attestation Service

We are excited to announce our collaboration with Ethereum Attestation Service to bring transparency and security to the Y Passport.

What are "Attestations"?

Attestations are signed pieces of data from someone claiming something is true. With EAS, these verifications are decentralized and stored securely on the blockchain, meaning they’re:

  • Transparent: Verifications are tamper-proof and accessible.
  • Secure and private: No central authority controls your data—you do. Attestations can be stored onchain or offchain. They can be made public or private. In this way, you can still have transparency when needed but keep other details private.
  • Trustworthy: Verifications are cryptographically backed, ensuring they’re valid.
EAS is an open-source public good for creating and managing these attestations. Learn more about attestations here.

What This Means for You:

  • Verify your digital identity: Y Passport will use EAS to issue attestations, ensuring your identity is secure, transparent, and controlled by you.
  • Unlock new opportunities: with secure attestations, you’ll gain access to rewards while maintaining your privacy.
  • Trust without centralization: enjoy a system that ensures transparency without relying on centralized intermediaries.
Together with EAS, we’re creating a future where you control your identity and thrive in the cyber economy.
